“Death is Nothing At All.” In 2017 I began a series of photo encaustics. The methodical work of printing my images on rice paper, pasting each image to a wood panel and then applying encaustic wax along with other substances such as charcoal and gold pigment helped me to process the complex grief I faced with the loss of my mom on 2016. This is a small selection of those pieces.
